  • Mole rejects pay rises
    Mole rejects pay risesLabour MP for Ipswich, Chris Mole, has turned down two pay rises which he was due to be awarded. The pay rises were recommended by the independent Senior Salaries Review Board (SSRB). The SSRB had recommended that both Members of Parliament and Government Ministers get a 1.5% pay rise. Mole who would have received a 1.5% pay rise to both his MP’s salary and – due to his role as a Parliamentary Under Secretary in the Department for Transport – to his Ministerial salary, has decided to reject the SSRB’s recommended pay rise.
